Getting over Jetlag

In between naps, we venture out in the rain during our stop-over in London. Today, Thursday, we found ourselves at Liberty of London (famed fabric design emporium) and now we have some fabric samples (for Kaari) to take to Africa and back. Got to do it now since no time on our return.

Peonies and Roses at the entrance
Sale item bins on the ground floor

Lunch at Fortnum and Masons, purveyors of fine comestibles (at a price). But oh so beautifully prepared and presented. Happily we don’t have space in our suitcases and day packs, or waistlines to purchase anything.

Definitely NOT “cheap at the price”
Marzipans
Marshmallows and Turkish Delight
Cookies anyone?
“Flying Toasters”? NO. Flying Cups and Saucers
